Q: Whenever our church celebrates communion (or the Lord’s Supper, as some call it), our pastor always tells us to examine ourselves to be sure we won’t be sinning when we participate. Does this mean you have to be perfect before you take communion? I know I’m not perfect. — M.F.
A: This is an example of an arbitrary rule that is part of a delusional belief system. I would advise you to stop going to church and research the origins of the bible and Christianity. You will discover that the bible has no credibility and Christianity is based on fear and intimidation. For reading recommendations, go here.
